Greg, subsequently, decided to follow the English film theorist/filmmaker, Peter Wollen, from France to New York where he was accepted to a PhD program at New York University. After Professor Wollen unexpectedly returned to England, Greg matriculated to Columbia University. Before attending Columbia he decided to take some time off.
He then began his journey in Personnel Placement, which has culminated in his current 20-plus year love affair with the profession. After joining Essex Personnel, he was asked to head up an accounting placement division. That group eventually spun off to a separately owned firm, Cross & Guard, Inc., of which he was a founding partner. Having established himself as one of the most sought after contingency recruiters in the greater New York metropolitan market, he formed his own firm, Greg Bernhardt, Inc.
Through the years, Greg has remained in the trenches of personnel placement where he continues to make a difference in the lives of his candidates and the success of his clients. |
